When you think about, there arent many good hitting SS's in the AL. You forgot to put the Catchers up, they prolly were Mauer and Mccann.

i didnt think they had it in them either

earlier this season i was saying stuff like "why cant we ever have a hanley or braun of fielder type? a super super young stud"

looks like we have 2

Nice job by Zimmerman getting Silver Slugger, kind of dissapointed Wright didnt get it. I guess better luck next year when our whole team is healthy.

I know Citi is mammoth, but still

(i know it's not all about HR, just saying)

pablo sandoval deserved it over zimmerman
pablo had the better OPS.

i think the power numbers swayed the voters.

and his perseverance.


as for Pablo over Zim, yeah probably.
Pablo did all that with Bengie Molina protecting him as opposed to Adam Dunn.

nats actually had a nice top of the order. Morgan/Guzman/Zim/Dunn

Giants offense was AWFUL, can you imagine it without Pablo?
