Coaches - With coaches, you get up to a +8 total combined boost between 2-3 categories. The coaches develop like players, but develop at an every other year pace. Coaches could be signed for up to 4 years, and are bid on at the end of the playoffs when their contracts roll over.

Mentor camps - Older players can transfer some of their talent to a younger player who plays the same position. For instance, Ray Allen could pass on some of his outside game to Aaron Afflalo. This could be something fun.
 
Pay $15 to move 3 attribute points from one to another - before TC camp only and you could move up to another 2 points after TC if the young player doesn't improve as much as you want.

DLeague / Euro camps - Full season IR a player to submit them to the DLeague or send them to Europe. DLeague only would be available to players within 3 years of experience, while euro camps would only be available to a first year player.
 
DLeague a player to boost their pot by 4 and 2 attributes by 2 for $20
Euro camp a player to boost each ability by 2 for $50.

I think this could be serious. Like maybe if let's say Kyrie turns out being a dud, we can do a real life edit for like $50 or so and he is then edited to be how he was in real life that season (hopefully it wasn't used on one of his injured seasons).

Not sure how I feel about RLE, kinda breaks the idea of sim randomization.

Then make it worth like $10,000 lol. I'm fine not including any of the ideas proposed though honestly haha.

How about no camps or attribute boosts, or if there is some, how about not so many available.

no camps allowed for 80+ attributes to prevent inflation. Also instead of +5 for camps, do +3 max. +5 is a lot

Think we just need the important camps. Camps are needed because of the unpredictability of the file when it comes to potential and players regressing when they shouldn't, etc.

Thats what makes it a sim league. The unpredictability. A good NBA player may not be good here and a fringe NBA player may turn into someone valuable. Its what makes it fun.

I guess so. Not saying we need major camps but just decent ones.

Can we get an automated cash claim for beating an opponent by 50+? Or scoring 150+ / holding opponent to under 70 or something.

Even if it’s not automated that’s so easy to find on the schedule. Just feels weird when you have an insanely good game like the one against Cleveland last year where I won 158-92 or something like that and didn’t get a single $1 to claim from it, meanwhile you could have a roster with a bunch of clowns and one average dude and he’ll consistently go off.
