Ive seen a lot of talk from reporters (Rosenthal/Heyman) etc about how baseball screwed up with the situation.

Which would you have preferred

5 game suspension 2018
1 game World Series suspension

MLB did the right thing by waiting till next season. A good point brought up on MLB Network was the 5 game suspension next season is a 5 games with no pay penalty. Players aren't technically paid salary for postseason games and Yuli would get postseason bonus either way.

Yuli also won't appeal the suspension, so it's a win for MLB.

Yea, he would have just appealed had it been 1 game in the world series.

This was the right call.

Heyman HATES the Astros, so I am not surprised that he didn't call for them to forfeit their place in the playoffs. He's a douche.

This was the right call all the way around. Now the lost wages go to charity, and the World Series wasn't compromised in any way. All the Boos that Gurriel got in LA were pretty good punishment. Yuli handled it well, and Darvish handled it even better. Why other sports leagues cant see the good example baseball sets with these type of matters is beyond me.
