Shit, was thinking Eric Reid.

Still don't like Elam though

Elam is the furthest thing from soft. I like him. Everything that is viewed as a "negative" with him is easily correctable.

Not high on Reid.

Was his name on that list that was up in the window of the strength coaches office?

Yes, that list had guys who missed a workout and it changed every week.

Well that's not good

I could see him slipping to the early 20s possibly now, depending on who red flagged him. A team like Pittsburgh might not take him if they flagged him, if he gets there

Arkansas TE Chris Gragg just ran a 4.44 40

Also, Lane Johnson just ran a 4.72, which is pretty good for an OT. Eric Fisher, in comparison, ran a 5.05. Lane also outrepped Fisher 28-27.

Both OTs will rise high in the draft, easily top 11, possibly Top 5 with trades

Matt Miller @nfldraftscout
Text I received from a scout this morning: Matt Barkley will not get past the Arizona #Cardinals at No. 7 overall.

Ryan Swope really surprised me with that time. Always liked Swope, but had no idea he had wheels like that.

Doubt it, unless he goes ham at his ProDay
Wouldn't surprise me. There are certain players that go higher than they should because of their position.

Typically QB's. Look at Gabbert and Ponder for example.

Yup, Swope's time was a big shock for me today.

Kinda disappointed that Ace went 4.5. I thought for sure he'd be 4.4 at least and maybe even 4.3.
Was also not impressed with Connor Vernon's official time. I've liked him as a late rounder for a while now.

Looks like Smith, Boyce, Stills, and King improved their stocks a bit today. Gonna have to check out the tape on a couple of those guys.

Was kind of shocked when I saw Le'Veon run a 4.5. He probably made some money today.

Wes Welker ran a 4.65

Wouldn't put a 40 time into too much stock for Vernon, who's ability to change direction is his biggest strength
