I met Trout when he played in Cedar Rapids.  He is a true class guy.  He will get other opportunities to get this award again.

Voting Trout just adds no interest. Angels are mediocre (imagine how bad they'd be without Trout) and he just doesn't have the exciting personality.

Because people are less likely to vote for him because he comes across as boring.
