WWE Getting Ready For Daniel Bryan’s Departure

Wrestling Standard has learned that WWE is getting ready for Daniel Bryan’s potential departure, by booking him in matches and storylines that were originally planned for the rest of the year.

Daniel Bryan has wrestled AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, and more recently, has reunited with Kane – his former tag-team partner in ‘Team Hell No’ – as WWE is viewing Bryan’s run as a ‘farewell tour’. The matches just listed would have been his feuds moving forward towards the end of the year, however, because the company still don’t know if he will sign, they want to make the most out of having him under contract.

According to our sources, the current plan for Extreme Rules is for The Miz to prevent ‘Team Hell No’ from becoming SmackDown Tag-Team Champions, leading to a match between the two – Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz – at SummerSlam. In which, The Miz is expected to be victorious.

Additionally, there have been loose talks of Bryan defeating The Miz at SummerSlam, if Bryan was to sign a contract extension, and carrying on their feud with a final match at Hell In A Cell.

Wrestling Standard understands that Bryan has recently hired the same agency as John Cena, who deal with his contract negotiations. Which, according to our sources, is one of the main reasons Bryan is still yet to sign; the ‘Yes Man’ want’s the best deal possible.

Hopefully they save Bryan/Miz if he decides to stay. That's a Mania match, it could even main event if they let it, but that's not happening.

TMZ reports that Bray Wyatt was cited for careless driving over the head-on car accident that he was involved with on Friday. TMZ also reported that Wyatt was cited for “careless driving due to his failure to operate his vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.” The police report does not go into specifics, and only says Wyatt was “inattentive.”
Bray Wyatt suffered multiple injuries included short term memory loss in the incident, which caused him to miss the weekend house shows as well as Raw. He was transported by ambulance to Tampa General Hospital, treated and then released on Monday.

According to cagesideseats.com, the new speculation is that WWE is trying to book Roman Reigns like a cool heel in the hopes fans would then cheer him like a babyface.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer (via Cageside Seats), Nia Jax is rumored to have actual, real life heat with Alexa Bliss, who used to be her friend.

Jax recently unfollowed Bliss on social media and has been liking negative comments from others about her. According to Meltzer, its not a work and has resulted in Jax having heat with WWE officials. This came after Jax and Bliss allegedly had a falling out.

Rumor On #WWE Potentially Hosting Two #Wrestlemania Events In One Year

WWE made a major splash in 2018, holding two Royal Rumble events in the same year for the first time ever. The first came in its usual spot in January. The second was the #GreatestRoyalRumble event in Saudi Arabia that took place in April.

According to a new report, this could be a format that WWE is looking to do for Wrestlemania.

This news comes from Jon Fisher of BarnBurner.ca. According to Fisher, WWE is planning on holding two WrestleMania events in one year before 2020.
The report says that there isnt a definite name for the second event just yet but it will be similar to the Royal Rumble and Greatest Royal Rumble idea. The report says that the first event will take place in April and the second will happen in October.

There are reportedly three cities being discussed to host the second event: Saudi Arabia, London, and Australia.

Take with a grain of salt for now. WWE is coming into some big money from their new television deals in 2019 which certainly makes things interesting
