Roy Nelson is going to beat Stefan. Ive seen Stefan fight and he is a giant, but I feel that Nelson will just get on top of him and wear him out.

I love this card, especially for a free-on-Spike event. Florian man-crushes will pour on the ratings but I am gonna go on a limb and continue to bet against the guy. Gomi is a shadow of his former self but I feel like he's gonna get that "anything can happen" haymaker...completely stunning the UFC's lighweight class. I'm also going for Struve as I know he is the way more complete and better conditioned fighter. Struve's only loss came against Dos Santos, in his last 9 bouts, and he's looked really good since he came into the UFC. Struve has a wicked ground game, speed, and there's nothing about Big Country's fatass that appeases me outside of a reality show. Also liking Nate Quarry to continue his win streak and Dan Hardy teammate, Ross Pearson, picks up the win against Siver.

Great card, free show, no reason not to watch.

War Gomi!!

Struve is a good prospect but Big Country is too good. He didn't put any effort into winning TUF.

Yea...remember how bad every one of those fighters were? Struve is only 22 but the guy has some serious kickboxing & BJJ.

I like Struve so I'm not counting him out but at this point Roy has been around for a while. If Struve fills out his frame more he could be a beast. Too bad he's so tall so wrestlers will always be a threat to him.

KenFlo and Nate Quarry on a fight night? I'll be watching for sure. Also I really don't see Florian losing this fight. Minus the Penn fight where he was clearly outmatched, he's been on a huge roll. He'll continue it

Ross Pearson dominates in the first bout of the night...1-0 for me.
-----------------------------

UPDATE: Damn...I seriously underestimated Jorge Rivera...and so did Nate Quary. Nate just got tore up in the first, I have no idea how he survived that.
-------------------------------------------------

UPDATE: About as fast as the bell rang, the 2nd round was over. Quarry was just too slow on the delivery and Rivera was nasty with the right-handed counter. Quarry kept dropping his right hand while jabbing with the left, and his kick weren't doing jack.

1-1 on the night.

Introducing the Nelson, Struve fight and suddenly the power goes out...classic. Cut to commerical, a preliminary bout re-air, (Tibau KO's Caol Uno by the way), and now I am wondering how much this power outage jacks up the rest of Spike's TV line-up tonight? This little snafu puts this live card behind by about 15 minutes so....

Enjoy the last live UFC event ever Charlotte.

Big Country vs. Struve time, I still find it funny when Bruce Buffer says about Nelson: "This man is a Kung Fu fighter, fighting out of...." Nothign about Nelson says "kung fu fighter".

Damn, Nelson is a full foot shorter than Struve....AND DAMN....NELSON WITH THE KKKKOOOO!!!! That is some serious knockout power right there. This fight lasted about 20 seconds, if that.

Thanks to Roy Nelson for getting this card back on schedule.
