And, with this, we can make the closing of the book on a Honey Badger return to LSU officially official.
According to WAFB in Baton Rouge, four former members of the LSU football program – Tyrann Mathieu, Jordan Jefferson, Karnell Hatcher, and Derrick Bryant — were arrested Thursday by Baton Rouge Police Department officers on marijuana-related charges.

Mathieu and Jefferson were charged with simple possession of marijuana, while Hatcher was charged with second-offense possession of marijuana. Bryant is facing the most significant charge — possession with intent to distribute.

BRPD officers found seven bags of what the police report described as “high-grade marijuana” in a backpack belonging to Bryant. Three other bags of the high-grade weed were found in the apartment, although it’s unclear whose residence it was. The police’s knock on the door was answered by Mathieu.

The 2010 All-American was dismissed by the Tigers in August of this year after what was reportedly multiple failed drug tests. He had enrolled in a substance-abuse program after his dismissal and subsequently re-enrolled at LSU.

Mathieu was also the subject of a recent Sports Illustrated “expose’” which intimated potential impermissible benefits received by the player may have put his eligibility in jeopardy had he attempted a return to the Tigers.
With this latest development, Mathieu’s eligibility is, for all intents and purposes, a moot point.
This guy smh.

Stupidity on such a high level should also be punishable by law.

Incredible.

ah, man the all knowing troll to try and tell me. thousands of people go to rehab for weed, and he could get sent to rehab instead of jail; this wont be his last time getting in trouble for it and its already clearly and issue for him.

It's just sad that honeybadger was out doing this stuff on his last hands.

And what the hell is an ex-qb doing coming back to campus and getting him in trouble. Ex-alums should be helping him stay clean, not trying to climb past security with bags of grass. It really reflects bad on LSU as a whole.
