Ive seen some Kimbrel back to the Braves talk. I wonder if we try to make Eovaldi our closer. Probably a long shot.

I don't see any chance of Eovaldi converting. Wouldn't he lose a lot of money moving to the bullpen?

Yeah. Its more hopeful from my end.

Most are predicting he signs for 4/50-60. Theres still a ton of risk is signing him.

I think Harper goes to the dodgers or the Yankees. I know people are saying the Cubs but I don't think that happens

I doubt he goes to eiher tbh.

Yankees days of spending that cash on FAs is gone. Their outfield is already stacked anyways (Hicks and Judge are both better players all around and at 30M harper cant compare). Yankees are more interested in Machado likely (which would involve moving Andujar to first). I think Manny goes to Philly anyways.

This. They worked hard just to get under the Luxury Tax, I can't imagine they go back over - and I don't see how they lock up one of those guys to a massive contract and are able to stay under the tax.

I'm probably wrong.

As a Mets fan we need a lot of things - but top 2 are probably Closer & Catcher. Ramos would be a huge get but I could see us getting someone like Maldonado instead. Which I think I'd be ok with.
