The 2014 NFL draft also yielded three monster defensive players in Khalil Mack, Anthony Barr, and CJ Mosley. Mack was a consistent, steady hand in his rookie season. Barr was a phenom and spark for the Vikings defense prior to his injury. Mosley was a bit of a balance between the two.

I chose Mack for right now. His TFLs and Sacks are so valuable to a defense that it's hard to overlook. His durability won out over Barr.

If I could find out that Anthony Barr would remain healthy for most of his career, I'd choose him, but I can't, and therefore I choose Mack moving forward, as well. That kind of disruptive force is rare in the NFL, and you need to take them when you can.

You are ridiculous sometimes. Mosley and Barr were just as important to their teams.

I mean Rob Ninkovich is super important to the Patriots. Doesn't mean he's the 2nd highest graded run stopper in the league only behind Watt.

Mack will have 14+ sacks this year, now that he's playing DE and not OLB. He's an all around monster

And Anthony Barr, if he stay healthy, will have 7-12 sacks and force multiple turnovers.

As for CJ Mosley, I guess I think he's the least of the 3. Truth be told, this question really should be Mack or Barr,

Can't really answer this since all 3 don't play the same position. Barr and Mack are EDGE players while Mosley's and off-ball linebacker.

Haha nailed it on Khalil. Predicted 14+ sacks and he got 15.

Barr has been great still, and is one of the better 4-3 OLBs in the league, but Khalil is next world. I'd argue Mack is a Top 4 DL in the league, with Watt, Von, and Donald as the other 3

IDK why you'd have to argue.  I don't think anyone would disagree with that.  Eagles fans might try, though.

Yeah, and Barr got hurt again last season so until he proves that he can be durable, it's no longer a question.

Also with Mack's position change they've become completely different players.

Love Mack but I'm too big of a Barr fan to vote against him. He's the more versatile player of the group. Its already been mentioned how better the numbers are last season if he was healthy throughout.

Mack is more versatile. Barr is great, and one of the best young linebackers in the game, but Mack could honestly play any position on the field outside of 0/1T. He can play ILB, he obviously can play 4-3 OLB and be an edge rusher. And I'd be fine with him at 5T and 3T if need be, although he'd be a lot better suited elsewhere.

You should be thrilled to how well Barr is developing and playing, but Khalil is unreal. Top 4 defensive player in the league already, with Watt, Kuechly, and Donald.

I personally think Khalil Mack was the best player in that draft and thought he should have been taken before Clowney. So far he's been incredible; first player in history to be All-Pro at two positions. The guy is incredibly versatile and a freak athlete. Definitely a player I think a team can build a great defense around.

I do really like Barr and I'm also a Baltimore fans, but Mosley is my vote.
