I see there are some other recruiting threads from years gone by, so thought I'd see if another could be worked up.

(Admittedly, I don't know how active the CFB forum is, compared to what it once was. But it seems like the football talk is trailing the BB by a good way, and a little boost can't hurt.)

Anyway, top 10 classes after NSD:

1a. FSU

1b. Alabama

3. LSU

4. Ole Miss

5. Ohio State

6. Michigan

7. Georgia

8. Clemson

9. Auburn

10. Texas

Wasn't a markedly better class for North Carolina despite the much improved record last season.

Only managed to get one guy in the ESPN 300 (DE Tomon Fox), and lost out on the #2 WR Nate Craig-Myers to Auburn at the last minute.

Miami ended up with a fairly mediocre class, but did manage to land a few studs.

Hopefully Richt can do some damage in '17 with a full recruiting cycle.

I absolutely love what Harbaugh is doing, though.

Agreed. Any guy who sleeps over at a kicker's house in search of the commitment has my respect.

Think I'll be watching much more of Michigan this year, especially after the Rashan Gary signing. Find it hard to believe that he made his mind up on the stage (as he says) though. Almost like some Jersey Shore TV producer stepped in and told him to say it just to add to the spectacle of NSD.

Or maybe he saw Ric Flair in the Michigan stage mob and thought 'yup'.

Cool infographic on ESPN's 10 years of No. 1 recruits.

http://espn.go.com/e...ears-espn-no-1s

More than half of the money on this list can be filed under the name of Jadeveon Clowney, who signed a $22.3 million rookie deal with the Texas after being selected No. 1 overall.
