Culver is a better defender, but also was a product of a great defensive system. Barrett is also younger, and while he bad defensively this year, he has the physical tools to be better.

Barrett is also a better playmaker. Both need work on their jumper.

I would take Barrett for his upside.

People sleep on Barrett like crazy. He has his flaws, but the guy was just 1st Team AA as the second best player on his team. Plus:

im honestly shocked anybody would consider taking culver over RJ

I was not impressed with Culver during that Final 4 run tbh, and RJ's upside is so much better. It's hard to fully showcase yourself when the team is built around a frountcourt player.

Like CC posted above, he balled out when they played around Barrett's skillset.

You still dont take Culver #3... just trade down if you dont like RJ

I wouldnt be surprised if he isnt the 3rd pick, but do agree that I wasnt impressed with him in the tourney.

Zion to New Orleans is still so damn depressing. The CBA needs to fucking change. The fact that they can control him for 9 years is so stupid. No other sport does that.

Am I the last person to find out that RJ Barrett is Steve Nashs godson?

One of the rare times I'll ever agree with you.

It's ridiculous that a team can control a player for a decades worth of their career. Five years would be plenty. Five years is more than enough time to either prove to a player you both have the same direction in mind and are a good fit.

Nice call. He'd fit very well there. I'm not as big a fan of him in Indiana. Okc would fit like a glove

Dont be surprised when it gets leaked that the Grizz have Morant and Culver even on their draft board.

If that's ACTUALLY the case, they'd be dumb as hell to not engage in trade talks with the Lakers to swap picks. Getting Morant is huge for the Davis negotiations and it gets Memphis extra value to grab their guy at #4

You know who I really like? Sekou Doumbouya.

If the Pelicans were to trade for the 4th pick, I would have no issue taking him that high.

I watched a little bit of him yesterday I was gonna ask why he isn't projected higher. I'd like him at 13
