Too early?

I think his worst case would definitely be Fab Melo.

Too risky for NBA teams.

Maybe the Spurs draft him.

That'd be the best for him.

They'll develop him well.

Don't think he'll fall out of Top 20 though.

I think he'll end up being a solid pro. His jumper and touch around the rim are great. He just hasn't been playing basketball for as long as most of the prospects in the draft, so he needs more experience. And like most skinnier college prospects, he should hit the gym and put on some muscle.

Coming off a sub-par season and yet he's still a projected lotto pick. The kid's family lost a lot during Haitian earthquake, (as if they had much to begin with), so I can understand chasing the money now. Skal will head to a pro team with pro coaches, pro players, and pro trainers to help develop his game. He's a project but will develop sooner than later by going pro now.

Similar to Thon I think he's a big project and by big I mean 3+ years. Maybe it's just because I still have Darko nightmares but yeah I don't want the Pistons taking somebody who is so far from being able to contribute

I mean he's not a top lottery pick but the kid can still play. I see a lot of upside in his game that I would imagine a lot of teams would want to take a chance on.

That Fab Melo comparison is pretty spot on IMO. Still can't believe Boston drafted him (thank god we landed Sullinger). Can't see him hitting a teams rotation for a few years, especially if he falls to a playoff contender.
