So in 2009, was David Garrard the best QB?

Jarius Byrd made the probowler as a rookie in 2009. Didn't really do shit this year.

That doesnt have anything to do with it.

I dont get how you're considered great, when you can only rush the passer and not stop the run.

He's still learning the game. To have the season he had, and knowing he is going to only get better.
If you think he's a finished product....

Who knows if hes a finished product? Thats all i've been saying. To anybody who thinks hes the best, anything.

It was only one year, even if he isn't Byrd, you can atleast learn not to Judge a guy on 1 year.

I think you can when dude was like one of the greatest DT prospects ever lol.
He isn't going to stay dormant in his skill set.
There is no facts to prove that, but how do you know Gabbert will be good? Same thing.

I never said Gabbert would even be good, nor am I claiming him to be the greatest QB prospect ever.

I know that Gabbert could bust.

I didn't say you did, it was a rhetorical question.

You do know that its uncommon for a DT to even get like 10 sacks.
This. Most are known for run stopping not sacking that is DE's and Rushing OLB's.

Nah, it's fairly common for a talented 3-tech to get around 10 sacks. Especially in todays game.

So only SUH getting 10 sacks and no other DT getting 10 is common. Sweet.

Actually, Suh had 9 sacks.

His first sack ever wasn't even a sack, Cutler just ran out of bounds. So IDC. 9 sacks.
